There may be a feud percolating between the Dragon Queen and the Onion Knight over a rogue coffee cup. Still, while "The Last of the Starks" was more carefully paced, there was one rather peculiar goof that's got everyone talking.

The final season of the record-shattering series has been anything but universally beloved thus far, as many fans are complaining about what appears to be a case of lazy writing in these final six episodes.

But there's a major plot twist: The disposable cup that made its way into the "Game of Thrones" scene didn't even belong to the beverage chain but from a local coffee shop in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, which is proximate to the scene's location.

Game of Thrones fans freaked out last Sunday when someone noticed a Starbucks cup was located in one of the scenes during the fourth episode of Season 8 that aired on Sunday, May 5.

"It's impossible to put a real figure on how much free advertising Starbucks gets out of the situation, but it's in a totally different category than product placement because it was accidental, which makes it more valuable".
