Barcelona v Manchester United

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has tipped Alexis Sanchez to "prove a point" as his team welcome back the Chilean, who previously played for Barcelona, ahead of their Champions League quarter-final second leg clash.

United's short-term target is to secure a Premier League top-four finish and qualification for the Champions League, but Solskjaer wants the club to compete for major honours next season.

"We are playing games that United are used to". "Maybe they feel they have to try to get the goal, maybe its coincidence, maybe it's because we got the first goal".

"Champions League quarterfinal is just attractive, we just have to enjoy it, give our best and trust ourselves", said Pogba, who scored two penalties in the narrow 2-1 win over West Ham on Saturday.

Chelsea are in dire need of strengthening in the summer, given the Blues are aware that we will have to go through a period without signing players.

The same article states that Solskjaer is already working with the club's recruitment team to identify players that could improve his squad this summer. "We're playing a fantastic team and I know my guys are going to run until the ground takes them".

"We're challenging for a semi-final, so let's hope Alexis, when he's on the pitch he can be happy with his performance".

Barca are unbeaten in 30 Champions League home games and were last knocked out of a European competition after winning the first leg in the 1984-85 season.

Two of those games were at Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain and the one they lost in Valencia was when they were already through the group stage.

The English giants trail Barca by 1-0 from the first tie at Old Trafford last week.

"We didn't stamp our authority on the game at home, we didn't keep the ball or create chances as we should have".

Solskjaer has also launched a withering attack on United flop Alexis Sanchez.
