Nick Bosa toned down his political views in case 49ers draft him

Yet the Raiders have also not hidden their interest in top quarterbacks ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Nick Bosa is widely considered one of the top-rated players in the 2019 NFL Draft class.

The 49ers have used three of their past four first-round picks on defensive lineman - Arik Armstead, DeForest Buckner and Solomon Thomas - but as coach Kyle Shanahan noted recently, "You can never have too (many) D-linemen".

The practical reality is that Bosa's not expected to fall past the second pick, held by the 49ers.

In new attack, Trump threatens more tariffs against European Union
"The E.U. has taken advantage of the US on trade for many years", President Donald Trump tweeted after the announcement. Tariffs on European airplanes could in theory help Boeing and hurt Airbus, whose shares were down nearly 2% on Tuesday.

Bosa essentially said he stopped tweeting pro-Trump messages because he might wind up playing in a liberal city.

Bosa didn't shy away from controversial opinions on Twitter during his time with the Buckeyes. "There's a chance I might end up in San Francisco".

Screenshoted tweets showed Bosa calling Kaepernick, the former 49ers quarterback who claimed NFL owners were colluding to keep him out of the league because of his decision to kneel during the national anthem, a "clown". The event is will take place in Nashville, Tenn., with the first round set for April 25.

All the political tweets have now been deleted from Bosa's account. The Arizona Cardinals have the #1 pick, followed by the 49ers.
