'Worst owner in sport' has stunning response to fan heckle

Knicks owner James Dolan insinuated he'd ban from Madison Square Garden a fan who told Dolan to sell the team.

"Do you really think I should sell the team?" he asked. "You wanna not come to any more games?" Dolan also told the fan to "enjoy the games on TV".

Dolan went out of his way to take revenge on the fan who yelled the message, with the interaction captured on video obtained by TMZ.

The fan responded that he was only stating his opinion to which Dolan replied, "it's not an opinion".

Another day, another unflattering incident involving New York Knicks owner James Dolan.

"Our policy is and will continue to be that if you are disrespectful to anyone in our venues, we will ask you not to return."

Though Dolan then walked away from this brief dialog, the recording captured what sounds like arena or team staffers singling the heckler out, with several voices asking Dolan, "Him?" and "Hold him for Kevin". They had no such luck, and a few years later, the team's management can only cross its fingers that the latest owner-inflicted lowlight doesn't come back to haunt the Knicks when free agency begins.

This year, the Knicks are an National Basketball Association worst 13-53 this season, adding to Dolan's woes as owner. He sued Dolan after he was thrown out of Madison Square Garden and arrested during a game in February 2017.
