Meghan Markle Made a Surprise On-Stage Appearance with Prince Harry


While Harry was on the docket to speak at the event that supports global development, his wife's on-stage presence was a total surprise.

The event was also attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who watched on as Meghan was invited on stage, laughing and cheering along with the rest of the crowd.

After his speech, Harry then shocked a roaring crowd by announcing, "Alright, now I'm going to try to drag my wife on stage!"

Telling him it's sweet to ask about the baby, Meghan said "we're almost there".

Multiple outlets reported that that the princess was engaged first but had to hold off her news for a few months so Harry and Meghan could have their announcement before her. Speculation about a feud between the women really gained traction after it was reported that the duke and duchess told the royal family that they were expecting their first child the day of Eugenie's wedding.

Kate was a vision of refined elegance, dressed in a long, mint-green dress which featured a high neckline and a pleated skirt. For the occasion, Meghan, who is due in the coming weeks, wore a navy blazer over a black top and black jeans.
