Sony announced the Xperia 1, Xperia 10, and Xperia 10 Plus at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. They are the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus and they come with Sony's new 21:9 aspect ratio display called CinemaWide. That's because it has also just announced the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus, the mid-range options for a new 21:9 wide screen trend that Sony is trying to start.
Finally, the Sony Xperia 1 comes with a tiny (considering the size of the display) 3300mAh capacity battery, runs Android Pie, has stereo speakers and supports wireless charging. Netflix has already confirmed support for the 21:9 aspect ratio. It's worth keeping in mind that while the 21:9 aspect ratio makes this ideal for watching movies in landscape mode, it does mean the device is way taller than its rivals in a portrait orientation. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Sony Xperia 1 packs a 12-megapixel (f/1.6, 1.4-micron) primary camera and a 12-megapixel (f/2.4, 1-micron) secondary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The company also says it's been working with Google's Assistant to add support for opening multi-window apps by the sound of your voice. The Xperia 1 will know which game you are playing with the tips appearing on the left of the display, while the game continues on the right. Thanks to the colour accurate display and their new Cinema Pro feature, you can shoot video in a neutral cinematic tone which you can tailor later to set a mood, like how professionals in the cinema industry do it.
The dual-cameras can be used to add bokeh-style blur behind the subject of your photograph. While Xperia 10 sports a dual camera setup of 13MP+5MP, Xperia 10 Plus sports 12MP camera coupled with an 8MP sensor. The batteries on Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus are 2870 mAh and 3000 mAh respectively.
