Rumor: Peter King says Antonio Brown doesn’t want Steelers to trade him

Steelers President Art Rooney II told Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette the team won't release the four-time All-Pro, but he didn't rule out other means of Brown making his exit from Pittsburgh. We're not going to release him, that's not on the table.

Brown has not returned phone calls from the team - including Rooney, head coach Mike Tomlin and others who have reached out.

Brown seemingly knew of the owner's comments; he posted a picture of himself and Rooney on Instagram along with the vague caption: "Good business #Boomin".

The Pittsburgh Steelers and star wide receiver Antonio Brown seem likely to be heading for a messy divorce. The Steelers would likely make a decision on his status before March 17, when he is due a $2.5 million roster bonus. Brown enters the third year of a five-year, $72.7-million extension signed before the 2017 season. The Pro Bowl receiver reportedly asked for but did not demand a trade after the incident, but he carries a $21.25 million cap hit for next season, so he likely would be hard to move despite his huge talent. Even if the Steelers do decide to trade him, he would still count over $21 million against their cap.

Subsequently, the RTX 2060 was presented to be 40-60% faster than the GTX 1060 , which, in turn, is around $100 less expensive. Pricing, detailed configuration options, and exact availability will vary and is not yet available for all manufacturers.

A team such as the San Francisco 49ers could be interested, as they have the cap space and the need for a wide receiver to help spur the offense.

Brown skipped Steelers exit interviews after the conclusion of the regular season and has not spoken about the situation - but has instead used social media to react, and at times, drive the story in a new direction.

Rooney said the cap hit would not play into the team's decision.

Though Brown, 30, wants out, it's unclear what the price tag would be for the wideout who finished with 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and a career-high 15 touchdowns during the 2018 season. We have two months to go before we can do anything.
