For some time now, royal fans have been obsessing over when Meghan Markle will give birth and many believe her due date is next month, more on that here. The other royal patronages, which Markle announced today, are the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Mayhew (an animal organization) and the National Theatre, which leaked the news on Wednesday.

Meghan, who is a big animal lover, will also be patron of animal charity The Mayhew.

As the announcement of Meghan's new patronage was made, it was revealed that the Duchess of Sussex had visited the organisation several times over the previous year, working with numerous women approaching the organisation for support and seeing them go on to succeed.

When it comes to royal mistakes, it's quite a biggie, considering these are Meghan's first-ever royal patronages given to her by the Queen and there was growing interest over what they would be.

Marina also revealed what qualities Meghan has that will make her such a great patron for the charity. Markle stopped by Smart Works on Thursday for her first public appearance at the organization.

Meghan Markle crossed off another royal milestone when she visited Smart Works on Thursday, marking her first patronage outing.

Each organization focuses on something the soon-to-be-mom is passionate about, from empowering young women to supporting education for young girls - and of course, she's not staying away from her love for animals. As a known dog (and animal) lover, the royal "has long understood the connection between animals and community welfare", making her the ideal person to support the cause.

In 2016 the Queen, now aged 92, stepped down as patron from more than 20 national organisations, handing on the roles to other members of the royal family.
