LOS ANGELES (AP) - Tobias Harris scored 28 points and Los Angeles overcame a slow start to beat Orlando. He is averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 34.6 minutes per game this season. Since then, wins have been few and far between as the Lakers haven't been able to adapt to life without their biggest star.
All of these things have contributed to the Lakers' recent downturn, though the loss of James certainly stings the most.
Friday's game will mark the fifth that James has missed. James will not make that trip.

There are seven solid games of National Basketball Association action on Sunday, beginning with the Lakers traveling to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves in a matinee game.
Additionally, the Clippers will host the Magic, the Nets will travel to Chicago to battle the Bulls, the Hawks host the Heat, the Wizards will take on the Thunder in Oklahoma City, and the Suns will host the Hornets. There is no guarantee that James would have led the team to victories in the last four games, but there is no doubt he would have helped.
The Lakers are now 21-17 on the season and sit in eighth place in the Western Conference which would give them the final playoff spot if the season ended today.
