FC Barcelona have released an official statement concerning Paris Saint-Germain's allegations that they have negotiated with Adrien Rabiot without permission.

But Barcelona have denied the existence of any such agreement with Rabiot and insist they have not broken the rules over his potential recruitment.

PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot deems Tottenham "below" him, according to ESPN.

His agent Veronique Rabiot, who is also his mother, said the following day that the situation between the French champions and her son had completely deteriorated.

"FC Barcelona have always wanted to work with the utmost transparency in their dealings with PSG and with any other club", said the statement.

Spanish giants Barcelona have denied making any contact with Paris Saint-Germain player Adrien Rabiot about a move to LaLiga.
