First images of Nokia’s new 5 camera smartphone

While the device is still some weeks aways from its official debut a number of credible leaks reveal key details and with the latest leaked video, it looks like some of important details are pretty much confirmed.

This was the case when Samsung launched its first four-camera smartphone, the Galaxy A9, in October 2018.

The device is expected to be launched on the last week of January 2019.

With five cameras and Zeiss optics to boot, you can expect the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView is going to be a serious photography tool, one that is worthy to carry the "PureView" name since the legendary Lumia 1020.

"Is that an LG G6 slapped with a five-camera setup on the back?" a comment reads. The main highlight of the device will be its camera.

HMD's "Nokia 9 Pureview" smartphone is no secret as it has been leaked several times in the form of images and videos as well.

If the leaked press render doesn't quench your thirst, MySmartPrice has shared another detailed photo alongside a promotional video that summarizes the handset's features perfectly. The picture shows the phone not just from the back side but also reveal the front design. It will get HMD's PureDisplay screen technology that has been seen on the Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 8.1. It features detailed renders that once again show a hexagonal, rear-camera layout with five lenses, a flash, and a yet-unknown sixth sensor that could allow the phone to shoot pics using all five cams at once. Like many other Nokia phones these days, this one appears to be an Android One device.

Another interesting reveal is that it will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

For starters, the leaked render confirms in-display fingerprint scanner, full-screen display without a notch, but two thick bezels on the top and bottom.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor might be paired with 6GB RAM given that it could be a flagship smartphone by the firm.
