While it does not give much detail about what we will see in the upcoming final season, it does hint at how things might pan out in Westeros.

HBO unveiled the trailer at the São Paulo's Comic Con today and it's enough to get fans ready for winter to come around more than ever. This represents the main conflict between life and death that has driven the series from the beginning, from George R R Martin's novels titled Song of Ice and Fire.

Sometime in August this year, HBO released the first official footage from the hotly anticipated final season which showed an embrace between Jon and Sansa Stark. The season 8 will premiere on April 2019.

Anyway, the new trailer is here and it's basically just a load of ice being met by a load of fire and fuck knows what any of that means.

The 39-second animated clip shows ice and fire sweeping over a map of Westeros.
