Red Dead Online will next open up to launch day buyers on Wednesday, Nov. 28, then on Thursday the multiplayer mode beta will open to anyone who played the game between October 26 and October 29. "As with all of our releases, we will strive to make the launch of Red Dead Online the best it can possibly be, and we ask that the community share that spirit with us over the next weeks and months", the company continued. As such, it has some players wondering about the Red Dead Online player count. The Red Dead Online beta will be here tomorrow for anyone who splashed out on the Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition, and by Friday, November 30 for everyone else. Next to get access are players that played the game yesterday, who will get access to the online beta tomorrow, on 28 November.

Those who played Red Dead Redemption 2 in the first weekend can play on November 29. Red Dead Online is set to blend the compelling storytelling we've seen in the singleplayer game with "cooperative and competitive gameplay options".

Access to the Red Dead Online beta is staggered throughout the week. The developer is purposefully staggering the online mode's launch, however, so this is where it gets a little bit complicated. We are going to let you know how many players there are in a session. It also looks like the camp at the center of the Red Dead Redemption 2 campaign will return in some form for the multiplayer outing, with camp improvements available for purchase. Rockstar tells Variety that you'll be able to create posses to ride with friends, take on some number of narrative-driven missions, and do all the hunting and fishing you could in the main game. However, it is likely to be similar to GTA Online. Considering Red Dead Online will only support 32 players at launch, you should temper expectations.

A series of Red Dead Online achievements which since launch have been unlocked by zero per cent of players has started to be registered.
