Further, the device might come with another Pixel device codenamed "Bonito" as revealed by ARCore APK insights. Some previous reports also claimed that like Pixel 3, the Pixel 3 Lite would also come in two variants, but new reports now say that it won't be the case and the phone will have only one variant. It will feature a dual tone textured glass finish at the back with the accented power button on the side, similar to the Pixel 3 duo. It does appear to have the same camera software as the bigger Pixel 3, which is actually really cool, but begs the question of how much Google will expect to charge for this device. The screen is an IPS LCD panel with 1,080 x 2,220px resolution (18.5:9), a departure from the AMOLED-only 3rd generation.
Being a mid-ranger, the Pixel 3 Lite is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor with 4GB of RAM and only 32GB of onboard storage. On the plus side, it will have the awesome Pixel camera (here are some early camera samples), a 3.5mm headphone jack and a lower price. Rumours, however, suggest that the Pixel phone with codename Sargo will be priced somewhere between $400 and $500.
