Saints Fear Dez Bryant Out for the Year With Torn Achilles

Bryant, who has been unemployed since being cut by the Cowboys April 13, joined the Saints on Wednesday after agreeing to a one-year, $600,000 deal.

Bryant is likely to miss at least eight months, which would put him into a similar position he found himself in heading into 2018.

Despite the fact that he suffered a potential season-ending injury on Friday, Dez Bryant still found some time to send out a tweet. The injury came just days after Bryant signed a one-year contract with New Orleans worth up to $1.1 million.

The Saints signed Dez Bryant earlier this week to bolster their receiving corps with a capable veteran, but Bryant's season may have ended Friday before it ever truly began in New Orleans.
