Woman Reveals She Made Up Allegation Against Justice Kavanaugh

In a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions referring criminal charges, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley said Judy Munro-Leighton confessed to committee staff that she "fabricated allegations". Committee investigators ran background on Munro-Leighton and, according to Grassley, found that she is a left-wing activist who is decades older than Kavanaugh and who lives in Kentucky, not California as she alleged in the letter. According to Newsweek, she later recanted her statement and said she had made it up for attention. Munro-Leighton later claimed in an email to the committee to be the Jane Doe who wrote the letter, media reported.

Grassley last month requested the FBI investigate a third accuser, Julie Swetnick and her attorney, Michael Avenatti, who also represents porn star Stormy Daniels in her allegations against US President Donald Trump.

One of Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh's accusers admitted this week that she made up her lurid tale of a backseat auto rape, saying it "was a tactic" to try to derail the judge's confirmation to the Supreme Court.

Christine Blasey Ford speaks before the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh on Capitol Hill in Washington, Sept. 27,2018. "When asked by Committee investigators whether she had ever met Judge Kavanaugh, she said: 'Oh Lord, no'". In order to investigate her sexual-assault claims, Committee investigators first attempted to reach her by phone on October 3, 2018, but were unsuccessful. Such acts are not only unfair; they are potentially illegal."The timing of the request could help reignite Kavanaugh's role in the midterm elections".

The report added: "Indeed, the evidence appears to support the position that Julie Swetnick and [her attorney Michael] Avenatti criminally conspired to make materially false statements to the Committee and obstruct the Committee's investigation". "Where are the Dems on this?" It claimed that Kavanaugh and another man had raped her repeatedly in the back seat of a vehicle after offering her a ride home. "And we're supposed to sit back and take it".

The president also questioned the validity of other unproven accusations made against the Justice and asked where are the Democrats on this.

Postmarked September 19 in San Diego, the letter detailed an alleged gang rape by Kavanaugh and a friend in the back seat of auto.

Munro-Leighton admitted her lies were a "tactic" and "ploy" to "get attention". "I say definitely prison time!" Numerous people came forward with accounts of their past experiences with Kavanaugh, which ranged from sexual misconduct to habitual drinking.
