Boston can put the brooms away, after Muncy's strike meant Los Angeles won 3-2 avoid a clean sweep and keep the World Series alive at 2-1 heading into Saturday's (other) game. A ridiculous amount, really, until Friday night melted into Saturday morning.
The game surpassed a 14-inning Game 2 battle the two teams waged the last time they met in the World Series - in 1916. It took seven hours and 561 pitches to settle this.
Dodgers: After the game, the team said its starter would be announced later. "So just the focus-on-one-game-at-a-time mentality". Kinsler tried to score from third base on a fly ball to center bypinch hitter Eduardo Nunez, but Bellinger's throw was in time for the out.
It should have been a routine play to end the game, but instead, Kinsler's throw was off target and LA levelled the game.
"We'll sit down tonight and decide and somebody will start, " Cora said, "probably a lefty".
So who wins every playoff game?
Long after rookie Walker Buehler dazzled over seven shutout innings for the Dodgers, things got interesting. Alex doesn't exactly have a Herb Brooks speech for them, saying, "They know how to do it, they're a good team".

Perhaps too much of a grind for all but the most hardcore of Red Sox and Dodgers supporters, that result is down 5% in the early numbers from October 24's Game 2 to hit a low for the series so far. Muncy drew a leadoff walk and tagged up when Nunez tumbled into the third base stands after catching Bellinger's pop foul.
The game took more than seven hours to complete.
Manny Machado had a chance to win it for Los Angeles in the bottom of the 10th, but Red Sox closer Craig Kimbrel got him to pop up with two outs and a runner on second.
One pitch later Nunez was sprinting down the line, beating out an errant toss to first by Dodgers pitcher Scott Alexander to allow Brock Holt to score the go-ahead run.
Game three will have taken a toll on the players, but it will have also given the Dodgers a glimpse of Boston's fallibility and now they must look to capitalise on that if they are to win game four and ensure the series will head back to Boston. Max Muncy scored from second on the overthrow to tie the game.
