Apple Announces October 30th Event


Apple is expected to unveil a new line of iPad Pro 2018 series in Brooklyn later this month.

Today, Apple sent out invites for an upcoming October 30th event set to be held in Brooklyn. It's unclear if each recipient received a unique piece of logo art, but tweets on social media indicate many invitations included different, colorful versions.

The new iPad is no stranger to the rumour mill and have leaked quite a few times already.

Apple is planning new iPad Pros in two screen sizes - 11 inches and 12.9 inches - that will both use facial recognition for unlocking, rather than a Home button with a fingerprint sensor. So it's entirely possible that Apple could equip the new iPads thought to come out this month with a new kind of connector, making them more like a laptop. Apple also could have a new Mac Pro hidden away somewhere. Instead, it'll be taking place in Brooklyn in NY.
