Tanushree Dutta files police complaint against Nana Patekar, Ganesh Acharya


The women's commission has asked the police for an update of the investigation and has asked the actress to appear before it to record her statement. However, on the fourth day of the shoot, Nana Patekar's behavior was ill-fated.

After cancelling a press conference in Mumbai on Monday, Nana Patekar on Monday scrapped allegations of rape levelled against him by Bollywood actor Tanushree Datta. "After recording her statement, we will decide the next action", Nitin Satpute added up. At a time when #MeToo debate was heating up after Tanushree's allegations, Nana was busy shooting for Housefull 4 in Rajasthan.

In the note, Tanushree Dutta stated that she filed her complaint under Sections 354, 354 (A), Section 34 and Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A beleaguered Nana also said his lawyers have asked him not to speak to the media as the matter is sub-judice. It read, "Sorry to be messaging at this hour, just wanted to inform that there's no press conference tomorrow, please pass on the message to your colleagues in the media. Will let you know about the further proceedings soon". The MSCW issued notices to Nana Patekar, Rakesh Sarang, Ganesh Acharya among others.
