Huge rift between Pogba and Mourinho at Man United — Sky Sports pundit

It has been claimed that only a handful of United players are backing Mourinho, although it appears the club's board is still completely behind the Portuguese.

"I think everyone is concerned about it, you have to be", he said on talkSPORT.

Those were the exact words Jose Mourinho used as he gave Paul Pogba a dressing down in front of his Manchester United teammates earlier this week.

This after Pogba watched United's surprise Carabao Cup defeat to Derby County on Tuesday evening from the Old Trafford stands, just hours after being told he will never captain the club again.

But Old Trafford's surprisingly poor wi-fi connection has been to blame, with Pogba explaining to Mourinho the photo was actually taken at half-time, when United were leading their visitors 1-0.

There have been reports this week that suggested a fresh fall-out between the pair, and Mourinho confirmed on Tuesday that Pogba is no longer the club's vice-captain.

Mark Hughes believes managers should know what "makes players tick", following Jose Mourinho's frosty encounter with Paul Pogba in Manchester United's open training session.

"I think he realises this man is a bad egg".

Mourinho is seen mumbling something as goes past the French midfielder, who also says something in response.

'Now another question is should Mourinho be getting more out of a £90m player?
