According to The Indian Express, earlier in June, a fellow nun from Missionaries of Jesus in Kottayam filed a complaint against the Bishop accusing him of raping her repeatedly 13 times since the year 2014.

"The Church leadership should seriously address the allegations raised by the nun", he said. Independent MLA PC George called the nun a prostitute, asking why she did not file a complaint after the first instance of sexual assault. They took her statement too and there were contradictions.

Noting that she felt the Catholic Church was still doubting her over the argument as to why she allowed the bishop to sexually abuse her multiple times, the nun said she had tremendous fear and shame to bring this out into the open.

"Considering the gravity of the matter, you are hereby required to provide explanation for making such irresponsible comments for which you are required to appear before the commission on Septemer 20", she said in a letter to George.

"Seventy-four days have passed since the complaint was filed against Bishop Franco".

In a statement, the Missionaries of Jesus congregation questioned the character of the nun and alleged she had illicit relationship with one of her relatives.

The loss spoiled the National Football League head-coaching debut for Mike Vrabel in his first game at the helm with the team. It lasted seven hours and eight minutes, including lightning delays of one hour and 57 minutes, and two hours and 10 minutes.

"I beg the Church authorities to kindly make a speedy enquiry about this case and remove Bishop Franco from his responsibilities as the spiritual leader of the diocese", the nun said.

"It is unfortunate that the Church has not initiated any measures against Bishop Franco, though the police have registered an FIR [first information report] and interrogated him", said Joseph Varghese, joint secretary of Kerala Catholic Church Reformation Movement. "So, they are denying the arrest", a nun said.

Copies of the letter were sent to 21 others, including the Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI) President Cardinal Oswald Gracias and Delhi Metropolitan Archbishop, Anil Couto.

The Kerala nun, who has accused Bishop of Jalandhar of raping her multiple times, has written to The Vatican seeking justice. The police will decide whether the accused bishop should be summoned for questioning in this case.

The case in the southern state of Kerala has attracted global attention, as it is extremely rare for nuns to publicly accuse a superior of wrongdoing, let alone sexual assault. I suffered it silently.
