Cardi B made headlines Friday night when she was escorted out of a New York Fashion Week event after allegedly throwing one of her high heels toward Nicki Minaj.

The I Like It hitmaker, 25, was simply "defending her daughter's honour" after hearing the Anaconda rapper, 35, had been "talking trash" about her family, sources claimed.

"But we did hear this woman say that nothing's off limits", Nicki said, "Because she has built her career off of sympathy and payola".

Minaj also expressed how "mortified" she was over the entire incident because of the bad press on the two as Black women in the public eye.
