Pakistan denies charges of aiding Taliban in Afghanistan's Ghazni attack


A suicide bombing in Kabul on Wednesday killed dozens of teenagers studying for university entrance exams at an educational center in a Shiite neighborhood, according to wire reports.

The president held talks with senior security officials and governor of Ghazni who was reportedly out of the country when the city came under attack last Friday.

Ghani directed security officials to reconstruct Ghazni police headquarters and establish more security check points in the city to ensurethe safety of the residents.

"Clashes are ongoing and the area is cordoned off by the Afghan security forces", said Kabul police spokesman Hashmat Stanikzai.

On Tuesday, the AP says, the Taliban killed 17 soldiers in northern Faryab province after besieging an army base for several days.
