Fortnite Avoiding Google Play Store Will Lose Google "At Least $50 Million"

The game will appear in the Samsung Game Launcher and in the Galaxy Apps store.

Epic Games has opted to launch the game first on Samsung phones - the beta is live now for most high-end Samsung phones launched in the last two or three years. There's only one title (Battle Breakers), and it's not available yet. After signing up for the beta on your Pie-powered phone and downloading Digital Wellbeing from the Play Store, it doesn't actually show up in your app drawer. You can toggle these apps on to permanently stay in your app drawer or just add a simple home screen shortcut.

Fake games on the Play Store have been a problem for some time. That 30 percent revenue cut is the same for Google Play.
