As Duetsche Welle reports, two elderly German men were reported missing from their nursing home on Friday, only to be found at 3am at the Wacken Open Air festival.

And my gran can't even stay up past 8:30pm. Police booked them a taxi and escorted them home, though they were reluctant to leave.

According to a yarn from Germany's NDR, a nursing home in Dithmarschen had noticed two residents were missing.

Police told the news service the men were "disoriented and dazed", when found. But they had a bloody brilliant time, we bet.

Speaking to media organisation Norddeutscher Rundfunk, the spokesperson added: "They obviously liked the metal festival".

Accountant Manafort admitted that he forged documents
Prosecutors allege that Manafort paid for the costly clothing and other items through wire transfers from the offshore accounts. That was somewhat surprising given that the defense counsel has thrown relatively few questions at prosecution witnesses.

House Republicans seek impeachment of DOJ's Rosenstein
Rosenstein has overseen the special counsel's probe since Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself. Asked in May about rumblings that House Republicans might move to impeachment, Rosenstein was defiant.

Rate decision a test for Turkey’s central bank
That's a pace economists say can't last, so the debate now is whether there'll be a controlled slowdown or a disorderly crash. Mr Erdogan's re-election comes with expanded executive powers to appoint the bank's rate-setters.

After some prodding, the men were taken back to the nursing home via a patrol auto and a taxi.

The legendary fest saw a sold-out crowd of over 75,000 people. It is a huge festival dedicated to heavy metal music and is going into its 29th year.

Seriously, can you blame them for living after midnight at a massive four-day fest that boasted a lineup that included the likes of Judas Priest, Ghost, Danzig, Behemoth and more?

Police praised revelers this year for good behaviour with little interference needed - it looks to me like everyone saw this pair and chose to respect their elders. One thing is for sure, these two elderly gentlemen are GOALS.
