Details of the incident are still sketchy, but multiple reports confirmed that the controversial rainbow-haired rapper was kidnapped on his home turf in Brooklyn early Sunday morning.

What is not contested is the fact that Tekashi was ambushed, kidnapped, knocked unconscious with a handgun and robbed of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of property and money from his home in NY.

6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, had been boasting for months how he was "untouchable" and the "King of New York" following repeated beefs with fellow rappers.

Rapper Tekashi69 is recovering in hospital after he was robbed and attacked in NY on Sunday morning.

According to TMZ, when he woke up he found himself in the back seat of the vehicle and the men told him that they would kill him if he didn't co-operate.

Our sources say that's when 3 hooded gunmen got out of the other vehicle, grabbed Tekashi and pistol whipped him ... knocking him unconscious.
