Overwatch's Latest Hero Is Wrecking Ball, A Hamster In A Mech

It was most peoples (including mine) incorrect assumption that Hammond, the most likely candidate for Hero 28, was an ape just like Winston. Alongside how he'll play and what to expect from him, Blizzard has officially released his origin story (above) as well, detailing just how a cute hamster could end up piloting a deadly, rolling mech. The developer dropped several hints regarding the newest hero's identity in one of the game's most recent maps, Horizon Lunar Colony. Do you want this to be the new hero?

Wrecking Ball's kit allows the hero to get from one point to another in a multitude of ways. Perhaps a member of the Overwatch team thought the insult was amusing ... or it could be a random coincidence that we just happened to notice.

Hammond joins Overwatch as a flexible tank hero.

Update 2:30PM ET 6/28/17: The team has indeed confirmed that the hamster hero, Hammond, is the next to come to Overwatch - and he's live on the PTR right now. Hammond shares his origin with another character in the game, Winston - a super intelligent gorilla from Horizon Lunar Colony, a map that was added to the game past year.

Pick your England XI to face Belgium at the World Cup
A short video of the routine has drawn more than a million views on Twitter. "Win seven games you win the World Cup ". Southgate insisted his team will not try to lose to get an easier match in the knockout round.

Overwatch is a game that features many fantastic elements, some of which have a slightly tongue-in-cheek element to them, but this seems to be the most ridiculous that Blizzard has actually put in the game. Genetically modified during his time on Horizon Lunar Colony, Hammond, granted increased intelligence and size, hitched his escape pod to Winston's ship.

Winston and Hammond were part of this program and have been marked "missing" in the Lucheng's systems after a coup where the subjects went rogue and ejected the scientists into space.

The name "Hammond" is not mentioned in the teaser video, but we're nearly 100 percent sure that this is Hammond, rather than a hypothetical baby ape.
