Green, Durant, Curry urge GM Myers to sign former Warriors scoring machine

Golden State has won back-to-back championships and Durant has earned two straight Finals MVP awards during his time with the team.

Warriors mainstays Draymond Green and Kevin Durant are lobbying general manager Bob Myers to sign free agent shooting guard Jamal Crawford, The Athletic reported.

While some talks have Kevin discussing a one-year deal with Golden State, most accounts have Durant singing a two-year deal to the tune of $61. Weeks ago Durant made clear that his re-signing with the Warriors was a certainty.

Though Golden State has had a great run, Warriors fans probably are not looking forward to the summer of 2019, when both Durant and Klay Thompson could become free agents. But, he told ESPN during the NBA Finals he planned on re-signing with the Warriors.
