Sister of Dutch Queen Maxima found dead in Argentina

Buenos Aires-born Maxima had a close relationship with her youngest sister, who was bridesmaid at her wedding to then Crown Prince Willem-Alexander in 2002.

A spokesperson for the Dutch government confirmed the news to La Nación: "We can confirm that Inés Zorreguieta, sister of Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, died on Wednesday night". Zorreguieta reportedly suffered from depression and was seeking psychological help.

Queen Maxima, of the Dutch Royal Family, has made a decision to cancel her public appearances in the coming days in light of the bad news that her sister has passed away.
