NBA Finals 2018: Warriors vs

LeBron James was repeatedly queried on JR Smith's blunder in Game 1 Thursday night which led to him abruptly leaving the postmatch press conference.

The game ended with James jawing with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson and then teammate Tristan Thompson getting ejected for a flagrant foul after he got upset when Shaun Livingston attempted a shot when the game was already in hand instead of taking a shot-clock violation.

Hill had tied the game up at 107-107 with his first free-throw but he then missed his second attempt which was rebounded by Smith.

His team-mate JR Smith caught the offensive rebound, but took the unusual decision to dribble back towards his halfway line as time eventually ran out instead of putting up a shot or calling time-out. The Cavs are gearing up for their fourth trip to the finals in as many seasons and Thomas elected to get the hip surgery that he made a decision to forgo last summer.

"I knew it was tied, " he said. I don't know the question you're trying to ask.

And in the final seconds, tempers were high after another case of what some basketball purists would call another case of the Warriors rubbing it in the face of an opponent.

Golden State answered moments later with a 14-4 run, Curry and Thompson sinking 3-pointers and Durant's six points including a slam dunk to cap the spurt as the Warriors led 84-78 entering the fourth quarter.

Prior to Thompson exiting the court, Love was seen walking on the court as Brothers went to the scorer's table to relay his ruling.

Why a 'boring' Cavs-Warriors rematch isn't a disaster for the National Basketball Association
But Golden State had to deal with an injury of their own as Andre Iguodala missed the last four games with a knee injury. Predictable, perhaps, but James is the best player in this series and the only reason the Cavaliers are in it.

Roseanne Goes On Insane All-Night Twitter Spree, Says She's Been "Punished Enough"
Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that "ABC does not tolerate comments like those" made by Roseanne Barr . Gilbert called Barr's comments "abhorrent" and said she was "disappointed in her actions to say the least".

"The blocked charge thing, previous year in the regular season same play happened to me", Durant said.

Cavaliers' LeBron James (right) pushes Warriors' Stephen Curry (centre) as Klay Thompson intervenes.

For anyone still questioning the greatness of LeBron James, here's a fun fact that will make the haters think differently. "I mean, it's like the unspoken rule in the NBA: If you're up by 10 or 11 with about 20 seconds left, you don't shoot that shot". Meanwhile, LeBron is here with Jeff Green and Kyle Korver, playing for his hometown team despite its inept owner and front office because that's where his presence is the most meaningful, and refusing to accept less than a maximum salary because that's what's best for the players' union.

Said James: "I was outside the charge line, I stepped in, took the contact".

"In The Finals on the biggest stage, when our team played well, played our (butt) off, man, it ain't right", Lue said.

In overtime, Cleveland never overcame Smith's mishap, as the Warriors out-scored the Cavs by a 17-7 margin in the extra period for a 124-114 victory. So, yeah, nothing. I really don't know what you want from me.

Coach Steve Kerr admitted they "got lucky" on Smith's goof-up and "got a break" from the refs.
